The Moxa NPort 5610-8 device server is designed to connect up to (8) RS-232 serial devices to (1) RJ45 10/100BaseT Ethernet port. Device server has an operating temperature of 0 to 55C. Input voltage is 100-240VAC.

The NPort 5600 Series Serial Device Servers offer quick to deploy serial to IP connectivity. Devices offer surge protection on serial, Ethernet, and power connections. NPort 5600 family of devices have LCD displays, and push button for on-site configuration. Serial ports offer independent operation mode. Dual DC power input using DC power jack and DC terminal block.

Serial devices can be found in POS, process automation, monitoring and control systems, as well as factory automation; among others. The ability to quickly communicate with all devices from an IP network may be critical for operation. Device servers coordinate the flow of traffic from multiple serial devices across an IP network.
