The Moxa NPort IA-5150 device server is designed to connect RS-232 serial devices to IP networks. Server is DIN-rail mountable, has easy configuration, redundant DC power input, and warning relay output. NPort IA-5150 has (1) RS-232/422/485 RJ45 connector, and (1) RJ45 Ethernet port. NPort IA-5150 has an operating temperature of 0 to 55C. Input voltage is 12 to 48 VDC.

The NPort IA-5000 Series Serial Device Servers offer quick to deploy serial to IP connectivity. Devices are DIN-rail mountable and offer surge protection on serial, Ethernet, and power connections. NPort IA-5000 family of devices support TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP operation modes.

Serial devices can be found in POS, process automation, monitoring and control systems, as well as factory automation; among others. The ability to quickly communicate with all devices from an IP network may be critical for operation. Device servers coordinate the flow of traffic from multiple serial devices across an IP network.
